So in a few days we are off to China! Fantastic! I am so exctied as although I used to live in China (in Beijing), I haven't been back for almost a year. I am really looking forward to practising my Mandarin, especially when bartering in the shops! I haven't been to Hangzhou before but I hear great stuff about it and can't wait for the scenic hikes, bike rides and everything else we are doing - we will be so busy! Remember, I am a fan of chocolate (not plain!) and most candies - and I hope for an invitation to any midnight feasts that happen in my group! See you on Monday morning - don't be late! Mrs Jordan

Monday Night
A cold but great start to day one of our trip! After a bumpy landing (well, I thought so) we walked into the cold air of Hangzhou – as you can imagine, everyone was soon reaching for their jumpers and jackets! Then we were straight onto our river cruise and some fantastic photos, including an awesome sunset photo from budding photographer Jason. After we had recovered from the “fresh” air, we went back to the hotel for dinner and a little playtime before early bed – well we do have a 6am start in the morning! Tai Chi at 7am? Brrrrr!
Until tomorrow,

Wednesday Night
Wow! What a busy week Ocean’s 9 have had so far! Pottery, hiking, painting, visiting school children, magic, and more tomorrow – biking, seal carving, dancing, eating! There has even been time for some sleeping! The children are having a great time and I reckon will be sad to leave Hangzhou. There should be some photos uploaded for you to see and expect more to come.
Until tomorrow,

Thursday Night
So, we have almost made it to the end of our trip and we can’t believe how quickly it has gone! Mind you, we have been so busy that it’s easy to see where the hours went. As I type this, the children are well on their way to dreamland after an exhausting couple of hours at our disco and quiz night, where they learnt a number of different facts about the Year 6 teachers, including Mr Hunts’ prior success in music! This was followed by some excellent catwalk moves and dancing to the tunes provided by me (A.K.A DJ Jordan). I was surprised to see such energy, especially since we spent a long day biking, seal carving and shopping! Just one more day to go and then we fly them back into your arms and for a well deserved rest! I suggest getting the washing machine ready for the large amount of laundry that is coming your way…until tomorrow.
